monday morning motivation

Good morning! Despite being woken up by the barking of the same neighbor dog I listened to as I fell asleep, I'm in a pretty good mood this morning.

Busy day, lots to do! I decided not to volunteer at the Plaza today because I have a few big projects for school that I need to get done as the semester winds down (only 3 more weeks after this!). I have a 8-10 page paper for English... I've decided to write about multiculturalism. Not too controversial but lots of good info available. I also get to do  my first creative photoshop project.... my assignment is to design a 3-D software box and logo. I've already decided I'm going to do a music software now to start sketching some thumbnails! I also have an assignment for InDesign to make a travel brochure for Costa Rica. Now for the part I'm dreading.... Business Math. I have to study today for a big exam tomorrow. This is the first time I haven't felt confident about the subject (investments... yuck. I simply don't care about dividends and round/odd lots of common and preferred stocks) so I'm stressing.

But I have the house to myself all day... I already made some coffee, I gave myself one hour to blog and read blogs, then I'm going to eat some breakfast, take a hot shower and get to work.

Enough about school.... I'm slightly obsessed with prints. I think I find them so fascinating because they're so creative and I have no clue how to make them. I've found a few lovely prints that hopefully help motivate your monday morning like they have mine!

  1. I love all the says, quotes, poems, etc.! They're all so pretty <3 I love the grass and sunshine one... It's so nice :) I'm glad you're having a good morning!! I'm doing pretty good too! Considering that I was up a lot last night!! Never eat ice cream anywhere near bedtime. No matter HOW healthy to eat it is!! It spikes your blood sugar and makes you sick to your stomach!! Lol. Or maybe it's only me... who isn't used to eating any kind of sugar ;D

  4. What fantastic prints! The first one is absolutely gorgeous. :) And the others are great, too, especially the last one, the walking barefoot one, and the "You are my very favorite person" one. :) Fabulous! Thanks so much for sharing. :)

  5. Cute! I think the third one and the last one are my favorites. Spring always leaves me wishing I was in love, ha ha. Some day I am sure it will happen :) Thanks for posting these!

  6. Jordan... I had peanut butter cup ice cream right before bed, too!!! Then I tossed and turned all night! It's just so tempting when I need a before-bed snack!

I'm so happy that you all liked the prints as much as I did... Isn't it great that something so simple can aid in starting the day off right?!

Heather... Love will find you when you least expect it :)

  7. Those prints are great, can't decide on my favorite, although I agree with Jord. I love the sunshine one! It's kind of amazing you woke up in a good mood after dealing with a barking dog! I had to talk to my neighbor last year, the same thing was happening. She'd let it out long after we were in bed, asleep, and again early in the morn. It kept us up for a couple hours in the middle of the night one time, that was the final straw! ;) I just thought it was common courtesy not to let a dog nuisance bark... oh well, live and learn. Good luck with all of that schoolwork! :)
